Sports Massage

Sports massage is different to the more recognised relaxation massage; it is intended to stimulate the deeper aspects of the muscular tissues and activate the nervous system in order to release the tension held in that muscle. Equally it increases the movement of essential fluids through the muscle bringing additional nutrition to the deeper aspects. It is beneficial for all aspects of our lives whether you are engaged in sporting activity or just for the daily routine. It can be adapted to enhance pre-event preparation & warm-up, to offer assistance during an event & to aid recovery post-event.
